Temporary residence permit

Full title: Temporary residence permit.

Included: accompanying the client to the medical examination, preparation, certification and delivery of all necessary documents to the Immigration department,control of documents passing through official channel, accompanying the client to the Immigration department and Central Election Comimssion to receive temporary residence permit(TRP) and national identity document (cedula).

Procedure: client should come to Santo Domingo and personally (accompanied by an agent of the companyt) pass medical examination and have his/her picture taken. This will take one day. A day more will be necessary to receive TRP and national ID (cedula). You do not need to stay in the Dominican Republic between these visits.

Time of execution: from 4 to 6 months.

Expenses included: services of the company, transport, medical examination, state duties, two sponsors, photo.

Advantages: status of a temporary resident allows to stay in the country legally and execute labour activity without limitation during a year. It is a necessary stage of naturalization process. It allows to open accounts in financial organizations, get loans, waive using Russian international passport in the country, receive national and international driving licenses.

A national driving license is necessary for everybody who wishes to stay in tha country and drive a vehicle for more than a month after having entered the Dominican Republic.

Documents needed:

- birth certificate (or its copy/replica) with apostille and translation into Spanish;

- non-conviction certificate with apostille and translation into Spanish;

- a document confirming a change of last name (if last names applicant’s passport and birth certificate differ). this can be a marriage/divorce certificate (original, replica/copy) with apostille and translation.
