What documents are necessary?

For turnkey naturalization:

- passport;

- two exemplars of birth certificate (or its copy/replica) with apostille and translation into Spanish;

- non-conviction certificate with apostille and translation into Spanish;

- a document confirming a change of last name (if last names applicant’s passport and birth certificate differ). This can be a marriage/divorce certificate (original, replica/copy) with apostille and translation.

For TRP:

- International passport;

- birth certificate (or its copy/replica) with apostille and translation into Spanish;

- non-conviction certificate with apostille and translation into Spanish;

- a document confirming a change of last name (if last names applicant’s passport and birth certificate differ). This can be a marriage/divorce certificate (original, replica/copy) with apostille and translation.

For PRP:

- international passport;

- cedula;

- temporary residence permit (residencia temporal).

For naturalization (ordinary way):

- international passport;

- birth certificate (or its copy/replica) with apostille and translation into Spanish;

- cedula;

- temporary residence permit (residencia temporal);

- a document confirming a change of last name (if last names applicant’s passport and birth certificate differ). This can be a marriage/divorce certificate (original, replica/copy) with apostille and translation.
